Items that are given out on loan to customers and need to be tracked in System Five.
The items being given on loan along with an item for deposit charge are added to a work order. The work order will take a payment representing the deposit, and will remain open until the item on loan is returned.
Once returned the work order is recalled and the loan item as well as the deposit item are added to the invoice "again" however as negative. This will place the item back in to inventory as well as reverse the deposit allowing for it to be refunded.
The work order is then coverted to an Accounts receivable invoice.
