How to Identify a specific lot # or Expiration date against inventory and have this number or date display at time of selling to allow for selection based on this date.
Select Lot is an Inventory type that allows for identifying a lot number or date (text of some kind) against items received. This identifier will display at time of sale for selection from, and takes precedence over FIFO selling.
1. Ad dan inventory item into a normal category
2. Choose the sub type to be [select lots]
3. At time of receiving, enter the lot number into the description field.
4. At time of selling, select from the list if lot numbers presented
