Have the system prompt the user that a customer unit requires servicing.
In a service type industry, identifying to the customer that an upcoming service is available is the feature here. This identification happens at time of a work order, and a service reminder is set into the future.
The service reminder will then allow for creating a wrok order automatically when the date arrives.
