How can a change be made to a deduction payroll item?
Changes to a deduction payroll item can be made as of a specified date. Edit the payroll item and when prompted, specify the date the change is to become effective. This allows for the change to be recorded before it takes effect. The revision history section of the Deduction payroll item will hold a history of changes made to the item, and by whom. The payroll item will behave acccording to the current setup, until the effective date at which time the recorded cahnges will take effect.
